Kailen was born and raised in Akron, Ohio, where she graduated in 2013 from Springfield High School. She attended Kent State Stark University and graduated in 2018 with a Major in Organizational Communications and a minor in Marketing. After graduating from college, she moved to Houston, Texas where she worked for a Radiology Center as their Account Executive. During her time there, she assisted Doctors and their staff to help their patients receive fast diagnostic results and be a resource to patients who did not have traditional insurance. After gaining rapport within the medical community, she moved on to be the Marketing Director for a Pain Physician and a Spine surgeon. Kailen then returned to Ohio to be closer to her family.

Kailen joins the WKJA team ready to serve the Lord and her fellow brothers and sisters in Christ and non-believers. She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior in 2002 and is continuing her walk with him each day. Kailen has helped with AWANA at her church for 10 years and occasionally helped with VBS throughout the years. Kailen has been married to her husband Brandon for 2 years. Out of work, you can find Kailen doing anything that involves physical activity and spending time with her family and friends.
