Barb Cook
About
Born and raised in Orrville, Ohio, Barb attended and graduated from Central Christian High School and, later, earned an English Education degree from Eastern Mennonite University. For many years, she honed-in on her typing skills by doing Medical Transcription for Dunlap Hospital and then later for Aultman Hospital. There, she typed medical reports and learned medical terminology.
In 2018, she and her husband, Jay, of 10 years became administrators for a church camp in Warsaw, Ohio, where Barb did office work, answering phones, scheduling, customer interaction, and organized the camp calendar 3 years in advance.
Being saved at a young age, she has always listened to Christian radio. She is excited about being a team member of Heartfelt Radio and understands the importance of encouraging believers and presenting the good news of the Gospel to everyone possible.
Outside of work, Barb enjoys walking the many trails in Medina County Parks while her husband simultaneously fishes in the park ponds.
